As child I got impressed by the massive Apollo rockets.
This series of paintings depict my fascination for the impressive rocket, including its Mobile Launcher Platform used for transporting and launching the Saturn V rocket. The platform featured a 120 m Launch Tower with nine arms that permitted servicing of the vehicle on the launch pad, and swung away from it at launch. Not only the launch, witnessed by exciting audiences, but also its construction have been an inspiration for this series.
The title “T minus” refers to the NASA countdown procedure.
